Oval diamond engagement ring with side stones resting on woven fiber

Engagement Ring Trends We're Loving for 2026

Every year brings fresh takes on engagement rings, and some looks keep growing in popularity. Here are the styles we're loving and seeing a lot of interest in for 2026. Remember, trends are just inspiration. The best ring is the one that feels like you.

Elongated shapes

Ovals, pears, marquises, elongated cushions and emerald cuts continue to be favorites. They look elegant on the hand and can appear larger than a round of the same carat weight. If you're curious about each shape's personality, our diamond shapes guide breaks them down.

The return of yellow gold

Warm yellow gold has made a big comeback. It feels classic and a little vintage, and it pairs beautifully with both white diamonds and warmer-toned stones. Many of our settings come in yellow, white and rose gold, and some in platinum too.

Bezel settings

A bezel setting wraps the diamond in a thin rim of metal instead of prongs. It looks sleek and modern, protects the edge of the stone and is less likely to snag on sweaters or hair, which is great for busy hands. We have bezel designs for ovals and elongated cushions in our collection.

Hidden halos

A hidden halo is a row of small diamonds set beneath the center stone, visible from the side. It's a sweet surprise detail that adds sparkle without changing the ring's clean look from above.

Three-stone rings

Three-stone designs, often said to represent past, present and future, are as meaningful as they are beautiful. Pear or tapered side stones give them a modern twist.

East-west settings

Setting an elongated diamond horizontally across the finger instead of north-south is a subtle, fashion-forward choice that feels fresh and unexpected.

Lab-grown diamonds

More couples are considering lab-grown diamonds alongside natural ones. Both are real diamonds, and the choice comes down to personal values and budget. Read our natural vs. lab-grown guide for an honest comparison.

Thin bands and stacking

Delicate bands let the center stone shine, and they leave room to stack a wedding ring, an anniversary band or a little color later on.

Custom and personal touches

A hidden engraving, a birthstone tucked inside, or a design inspired by a family piece: personal details are what make a ring truly yours. Learn about our custom jewelry process.

Trend or timeless?

If you love a trend, go for it! If you're worried about it feeling dated, pair a trendy element with a classic foundation, like a bezel-set oval on a simple band. Not sure which styles suit you? Try our Ring Matchmaker quiz.

Quick answers

Will an elongated shape look dated? Ovals, pears and emerald cuts have been loved for generations. They're trendy now, but they're also classics.

Yellow or white gold? It's all about her style and skin tone. Try both on in person; the right one usually stands out right away.

Are bezels less sparkly? A bezel covers the edge of the diamond, but a well-cut stone still sparkles beautifully from the top.
